BREACC

The Brazilian Educational and Cultural Centre is a not-for-profit, equal opportunities, cultural and educational organisation. It was funded in 1997 mainly by Brazilian parents based in London who felt the need for their children to be taught Portuguese and to be in touch with the Brazilian culture within a sociable environment.

Its purpose is to:

• promote and disseminate information about Brazil and the Portuguese language
  
• foster understanding and appreciation for the Brazilian culture
  
• provide friends of Brazil and families with educational programmes, social events and cross-cultural exchange
